Industry

A. The definition and understanding of industry Industry is an organization or activity processing the raw materials or intermediate goods into finished goods finished goods that have value added to make a profit. Operating assembly or assembling and repair are also part of the industry. The results not only in the form of goods industries, but also in the form of services.
B. Type / variety of industries based on the raw materials 1. Extractive industries Extractive industry is an industry standard material taken directly from the natural surroundings. - Examples: agriculture, plantation, forestry, fishery, animal husbandry, mining, and others. 2. Industry nonekstaktif Nonekstaktif industry is an industry standard material obtained from somewhere other than the natural surroundings. 3. Industry facilitative Facilitative industry is an industry whose products are mainly sold in the form of services to its customers. - Example: insurance, banking, transport, expedition, and so forth.
C. Class / type of small industries based on large capital 1. Capital-intensive industries is an industry that was built with large amounts of capital for operational and development activities 2. Labor-intensive industries is an industry more focused on large amounts of labor or workers in the construction and operation.
D. The types / kinds of industries based on the classification or penjenisannya = Based on the Decree of the Minister of Industry No.19/M/I/1986 = 1. Manufacture of basic chemicals such as cement, pharmaceuticals, paper, fertilizer, etc. 2. Industrial machinery and basic metals industries such as aircraft, motor vehicles, textiles, etc. 3. Small Industries Examples such as bread industry, stove oil, snacks, ice, cooking oil, etc. 4. Various industry industries such as clothing, food and beverage industry, and others.
E. The types / kinds of industries based on the amount of labor 1. Domestic industry Industry is that the number of employees / workforce numbered between 1-4 people. 2. Small Industries Industry is that the number of employees / workforce numbered between 5-19 people. 3. Medium or medium industries Is the industry that the number of employees / workforce numbered between 20-99 people. 4. Big industry Industry is that the number of employees / workforce numbered between 100 people or more.
F. Division / classification Based on the industrial site selection 1. Industry-oriented or focused on the market (market-oriented industry) Is an industry which was established in accordance with the location of the target potential consumers. This type of industry will approach the pockets where potential customers are located. The closer to the market will increasingly become better. 2. Industry-oriented or focused on employment / labor (man power oriented industry) Is an industry that is on location at population centers because it usually requires many types of industrial workers / employees to more effectively and efficiently. 3. Industry-oriented or focused on raw materials (supply-oriented industry) Is the type of industry that approached the location where raw materials are to trim or cut the large transportation costs.
G. Various kinds / types of industries based on individual productivity 1. Primary Industries are industries that produce goods instead of refined processed immediately or without prior Examples are the result of agricultural production, animal husbandry, plantation, fishery, and so forth. 2. Secondary Industry secondary industry is an industry that processed raw materials to produce goods to be processed again. Example is the spinning of silk yarn, electronic components, and so forth. 3. Tertiary Industry Is an industry whose products or goods in the form of services. Examples such as telecommunications, transportation, health care, and much more.
